The content of the document of Ha Tinh province stated: Considering the report and proposal of Hai Phong Automobile Repair Company Limited in document No. 17 dated June 6, 2025 on accelerating administrative procedures to implement the Cua Hoi Port and Logistics Infrastructure Services project, Ha Tinh province, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Bao Ha commented as follows: The People's Committee of Ha Tinh province welcomed Hai Phong Automobile Repair Company Limited for proposing to implement the Cua Hoi Port and Logistics Infrastructure Services project.
Previously, the province organized a working session with the Investor and departments, branches and units on February 6, 2025 and directed units and localities to inspect and advise on handling many related documents.
However, according to the report of the Department of Construction and the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the proposed land for project implementation is not in accordance with the Nghi Xuan District Construction Planning, the Xuan Truong - Xuan Hoi Urban Tourism Area Construction Zoning Plan, and the Nghi Xuan District Land Use Plan, and there is no agreement with the Ministry of Construction on other ports in Appendix III of Decision No. 1587 dated December 17, 2024 of the Prime Minister.
Therefore, the Provincial People's Committee issued Document No. 4671 dated July 2, 2025, assigning relevant departments, branches and localities to continue reviewing and advising the Provincial People's Committee on handling.
In the coming time, Hai Phong Automobile Repair Company Limited is requested to continue working with departments, branches and localities to coordinate, provide information and clarify the contents related to the project proposal.
Then, submit to the competent authority for consideration and approval of the project investment policy in accordance with the provisions of law, in accordance with the planning, ensuring efficiency, feasibility, and contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.
Previously, in early 2024, Hai Phong Automobile Repair Company Limited and Transport Design Consulting Corporation - JSC (TEDI) held a signing ceremony for the design consulting contract of the Cua Hoi Infrastructure Port Investment and Service Project.
According to preliminary research results, the project complex is located on the right bank of Lam River, upstream of Cua Hoi Bridge.
The project complex includes: Logistics Infrastructure Service Port; Fuel Port warehouse and Newly completed Watercraft Repair Workshop.
The capacity of the project complex is about 3 million tons/year, meeting 5,000 DWT heavy-duty ships; Total investment is about 3,200 billion VND; Investment implementation period is expected from 2025 - 2030; Land use area is about 144 hectares.
Investment objective for the construction of Cua Hoi logistics infrastructure port project to serve import-export, goods distribution, logistics services, reception, storage, packaging, packaging... loading and unloading, transportation by waterway and road; customs clearance; maintenance, repair and packaging of new containers and means of transport; supply of fuel for the area; investment in the construction of office buildings and product display areas.
