Speaking at the opening ceremony, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia emphasized that in 2025, despite facing many difficulties, Hung Yen still achieved comprehensive results in socio-economic development. Most targets were completed and exceeded the plan, and budget revenue reached a record level. The province also effectively implemented three key tasks: socio-economic development; merging Hung Yen and Thai Binh, arranging the organizational structure according to the two-level government model; organizing Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.

According to provincial leaders, these results have an important contribution from the business community and entrepreneurs. Many investors continue to choose Hung Yen with large-scale projects, showing confidence in the province's investment environment.

The business sector currently contributes about 55% of GRDP, 45% of domestic budget revenue and creates jobs for more than 700,000 workers. In addition to developing production and business, businesses also actively participate in social security activities.

The conference is also an opportunity for provincial leaders to listen to business recommendations. Representatives of the Provincial Business Association raised some difficulties related to administrative procedures, production land fund, access to capital, logistics costs and human resources. Businesses proposed to promote procedural reform, implement the DDCI index set, and remove obstacles related to land lease in some industrial parks.

Within the framework of the program, the Provincial People's Committee signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with Lotus Vietnam Hospitality Co., Ltd. (UK) to research and implement a project in Thai Binh Economic Zone with a total capital of about 5 billion USD; and at the same time acknowledged investment commitments from many businesses in the area.

Mr. Pham Quang Ngoc - Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee affirmed that businesses are the center and driving force for development. The province is committed to accompanying and considering the success of businesses as the success of the locality.

In the coming time, Hung Yen will continue to improve the investment environment towards transparency and stability; promote administrative reform, improve competitiveness, and promptly remove obstacles for businesses. The province sets a goal to develop rapidly and sustainably by 2030; by 2035 to become a modern industrial province and towards 2045 to become a smart, ecological city directly under the Central Government.
