The People's Committee of Bac Ninh province has just issued an official dispatch on site clearance for the implementation of the Thuan Thanh III Industrial Park (IP) project - Sub-zone C and An Viet - Que Vo 6 IP.
Official dispatch sent to the Management Board of Bac Ninh Industrial Parks; People's Committees of the towns: Thuan Thanh, Que Vo; H2T Bac Ninh Company Limited; Gilimex Bac Ninh Industrial Park Company Limited; Bac Ninh Industrial Park Investment and Development Support Center.
Accordingly, the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province received an Official Dispatch dated May 6, 2025 from Gilimex Bac Ninh Industrial Park Company Limited on site clearance for Thuan Thanh III Industrial Park - Sub-area C and an Official Dispatch dated May 20, 2025 from H2T Bac Ninh Industrial Park Company Limited on site clearance for the An Viet - Que Vo 6 Industrial Park project.
Chairman of Bac Ninh People's Committee assigned the People's Committee of Thuan Thanh Town and Que Vo to add the project to the 2025 land use plan of the town to submit to the competent authorities for appraisal and approval according to regulations; At the same time, coordinate and support relevant businesses and units to complete the site clearance to soon hand over the ground to investors to start the project implementation in 2025.
According to the reporter's investigation, the 1/2,000 scale construction zoning plan for Thuan Thanh III Industrial Park - Sub-zone C was approved by the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province in Decision dated March 14, 2025.
The planning area is in Dinh To and Dai Dong Thanh communes, Gia Dong ward, Song Ho ward (Thuan Thanh town), with a total area of about 196 hectares, with two sides adjacent to provincial roads 282B and 276. The labor force is about 19,600 people, of which nearly 2,000 workers are staying in the project.
The An Viet - Que Vo 6 Industrial Park project was previously named Nhan Hoa - Phuong Lieu small and medium-sized industrial park.
The above project was granted an investment certificate in 2008, with a scale of about 453,664.9 m2, a total investment of more than 143 billion VND; the site clearance, construction of the operator house, the main axis road of the industrial park and leveling of most of the project implementation area have been completed.
Previously, as Lao Dong reported, after many years of implementation, the above project was abandoned, the outside of the project was surrounded by corrugated iron.
According to records, many areas in the project are abandoned and used as places for raising chickens, raising ducks, and raising buffaloes.
The Nhan Hoa - Phuong Lieu - Que Vo small and medium-sized industrial park project is one of 6 projects that have been named by the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province as being behind schedule, with prolonged backlog, low efficiency, causing great loss and waste.
