On January 10, in a notice sent to customers, The Coffee House clarified information related to the source of raw materials serving at the system.
Accordingly, the lamppost pate bread product of this unit does not use pate or any meat processed products of Ha Long Canned Food Joint Stock Company, and is not related to this unit in any production or supply stage.
For the two products, Phuc Kien Sen lychee tea and americano lychee tea, due to the use of a raw material ingredient from the above-mentioned supplier, The Coffee House has proactively temporarily suspended service to switch to a replacement supply source, ensuring full compliance with safety and quality standards.
According to The Coffee House, this decision was made with the highest goal of ensuring customer safety, although it may cause some inconvenience in the short term. The business also sent thanks to customers for their trust, companionship and understanding, and said it would update soon when the products are served again.

Previously, Highlands Coffee also issued an official announcement to reassure customers against recent concerns.
The enterprise affirms that it does not purchase and does not use any processed pork products or pate from Ha Long Canned Food Joint Stock Company in the entire store system nationwide.
However, with the highest spirit of caution and putting customer safety first, Highlands Coffee has also stopped serving other products using ingredients from the above-mentioned supplier while waiting for official conclusions from functional agencies.
The business said that in the next few days, after completing the conversion to alternative suppliers that fully meet strict standards on food safety and high quality, Highlands will resume serving this product.
