Retail gasoline and oil prices today, May 17th, at the Military Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (MIPEC) system continue to be kept stable according to the adjustment level from the May 14th operating period of the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance:

According to the latest price list, RON 95-III unleaded gasoline is currently listed by MIPEC at 24,070 VND/liter in region 1 and 24,550 VND/liter in region 2.
Meanwhile, E10 RON 95-III bio-gasoline is currently priced at 23,450 VND/liter in region 1 and 23,910 VND/liter in region 2. E5 RON 92-II bio-gasoline is sold at 23,130 VND/liter in region 1 and 23,590 VND/liter in region 2.
In the oil group, Diesel 0.001S level 5 is currently listed at 28,480 VND/liter in region 1 and 29,040 VND/liter in region 2. Diesel 0.05S level 2 is sold at 27,220 VND/liter in region 1 and 27,760 VND/liter in region 2.
According to records, the retail price level at MIPEC is currently equivalent to Petrolimex and PVOIL in many key commodities such as RON 95-III gasoline, E5 RON 92-II gasoline and diesel oil. After the adjustment to decrease on May 14, domestic gasoline and oil prices are tending to stabilize again after a series of strong fluctuations at the beginning of the month.
Current price movements are still directly affected by the world oil market in the context that global energy supply is still volatile and geopolitical tensions in the Middle East have not completely cooled down.
In addition, the fact that many key enterprises are starting to expand the business of E10 biofuel is expected to contribute to promoting clean fuel consumption and supporting the green energy transition process in Vietnam.
