World oil price today
World oil prices today increased sharply. At the end of the weekend trading session, WTI crude oil was at 67.18 USD/barrel, up 0.63 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.95%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at 66.55 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 66.78 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 70.58 USD/barrel, up 0.70 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 1.00%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 69.88 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 70.16 USD/barrel.
According to analysts, oil prices increased sharply as investors worried that the conflict in Ukraine had not shown any signs of an early end, while energy supply from Russia is unlikely to return to the Western market.
On March 13, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Moscow supported the US proposal for a ceasefire in Ukraine. However, he stressed that fighting cannot be temporarily suspended when some important conditions have not been met or clarified. The Russian leader affirmed that any agreement must address the root cause of the conflict and move towards a long-term peace.
On March 14, US President Donald Trump continued to urge Russia to accept the ceasefire proposal. At the same time, Chinese state-owned companies have also limited oil imports from Russia due to concerns about sanctions risks.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On March 15, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities are applying) are as follows:

The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade in the price management session on the afternoon of March 13, 2025. Accordingly, gasoline prices have decreased sharply.
E5 RON 92 gasoline price decreased by 680 VND/liter, RON 95-III gasoline decreased by 753 VND/liter, kerosene decreased by 483 VND/liter, diesel decreased by 435 VND/liter, mazut decreased by 155 VND/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, gasoline prices may increase.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to increase by about 370 VND/liter; E5 gasoline increases by about 350 VND/liter; Diesel increases by about 40 VND/liter.
