World oil price today
Today's gasoline prices all decreased. At 11:15 (Vietnam time), WTI crude oil was at 63.17 USD/barrel, down 0.24 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.38%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at 63.41 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 63.38 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 65.39 USD/barrel, down 0.24 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.37%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 75.63 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 65.57 USD/barrel.
Thus, world oil prices today turned down after yesterday's strong increase. At the end of yesterday's trading session (February 3), WTI crude oil and Brent oil increased by 1.4% and 1.5%, respectively, to the highest level in the past 2 weeks.
According to analysts, oil prices increased as tensions between Russia - Ukraine, US - Iran continued, allowing sanctions against two members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies (OPEC +) Russia and Iran to be maintained for a longer period of time.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On June 4, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 (46 provinces and cities are applying) are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil has been adjusted according to the price of the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade jointly announced in the price management session on the afternoon of May 29, 2025. Accordingly, petroleum products have adjusted in opposite directions with slight increases in gasoline prices and decreases in oil prices.
E5 RON 92 gasoline price increased by 74 VND/liter, RON 95-III gasoline increased by 33 VND/liter, diesel price decreased by 269 VND/liter, kerosene decreased by 206 VND/liter and mazut oil decreased by 248 VND/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may increase simultaneously.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to increase by about 110 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increases by about 40 VND/liter; Diesel increases by about 240 VND/liter.
