World oil price today
World oil prices have just experienced a strong increase. At the end of yesterday's trading session (August 26), WTI and Brent oil prices increased by 0.94% and 0.99%, respectively.
By this morning's session, both oil products continued to increase. At 10:25, WTI crude oil was at 64.97 USD/barrel, up 0.36 USD/barrel; equivalent to an increase of 0.53%. WTI oil closed the previous trading session at 84.61 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 64.55 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 68.45 USD/barrel, up 0.31 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 6%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 68.15 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 68.18 USD/barrel.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On September 2, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil was adjusted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance from 3:00 p.m. on August 28.
Accordingly, gasoline prices have increased simultaneously. E5RON92 gasoline price increased by 307 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline increased by 271 VND/liter, Diesel increased by 452 VND/liter, Meria increased by 411 VND/liter, Mazut oil increased by 144 VND/kg.
This management period, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance did not set aside or use the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund for the above-mentioned petroleum products.

The discount levels of gasoline products today, September 2 at some domestic gasoline trading enterprises are as follows:
Hoang Trong General Trading Company Limited: Hai Linh warehouse, Hai Phong: Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,350 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,250 VND/liter; Bac Ninh warehouse: Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,200 VND/liter; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,100; Nghi Son warehouse: Diesel 0.05S - II: 1,400 VND/liter, RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,350 VND/liter.
Tu Luc Petroleum: Diesel discount 0.05S-II: 1,400 VND/liter; Diesel 0.001S-V: 1,200; RON 95 - III gasoline: 1,350 VND/liter; E5 gasoline: 1,350 VND/liter.
MIPEC Petroleum: RON 95 - III Petroleum Discount: VND 1,200/liter; Diesel 0.05S-II: VND 1,100/liter; Diesel 0.05S: VND 1,450. Applicable to the Northern region.
Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price adjustment period, retail prices of gasoline may adjust in different directions.
In particular, the price of RON 95 - III gasoline is forecast to decrease by about 40 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increases by about 20 VND/liter; Diesel oil decreases by about 60 VND/liter.
