World oil price today
World oil prices today suddenly reversed. At 11:25 (Vietnam time), WTI crude oil was at 67.62 USD/barrel, down 0.31 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.46%. WTI crude oil closed the previous trading session at 67.93 USD/barrel, opening today's session at 67.91 USD/barrel.
Brent oil was at 69.29 USD/barrel, down 0.29 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.42%. Brent oil closed the previous trading session at 69.58 USD/barrel and opened today's session at 69.57 USD/barrel.
World oil prices have recorded strong fluctuations in the last two sessions. After falling sharply in the first morning session of the week, the market quickly reversed and increased sharply. At the end of yesterday's trading session (September 7), Brent oil price increased by 1.98%, while WTI oil increased by 2.27%. However, this morning, both oil products simultaneously turned to decrease again.
According to analysts, oil price movements reflect the tug-of-war between expectations of high energy demand and negative factors such as OPEC+ declaring to increase production beyond forecasts, along with new concerns about US tariff policies.
Domestic gasoline prices today
On July 8, retail gasoline prices according to the price list announced by Petrolimex in regions 1 and 2 are as follows:
The above domestic retail price of gasoline and oil has been adjusted according to the price of the Ministry of Finance - Industry and Trade since 3:00 p.m. on July 3. Accordingly, E5RON92 gasoline price decreased by 1,085 VND/liter, RON95-III gasoline decreased by 1,210 VND/liter; diesel price decreased by 941 VND/liter; kerosene decreased by 932 VND/liter; mazut decreased by 1,148 VND/kg.

Forecast of domestic gasoline prices in the coming period
According to a representative of a petroleum business, domestic petroleum prices will fluctuate according to the world petroleum situation. According to current market developments, it is forecasted that in the next price management period, retail prices of gasoline may increase simultaneously;
Of which, RON 95 - III gasoline price is forecast to increase by about 150 VND/liter; E5 RON 92 - II gasoline increases by about 180 VND/liter; Diesel increases by about 410 VND/liter
