According to the Hai Phong City Customs Department, by the end of November 21, the unit completed the state budget revenue target, finishing ahead of schedule with VND 67,735.3 billion, reaching 101.9% of the estimated target, an increase of VND 9,886.5 billion, equivalent to an increase of 17.1% over the same period in 2023. Of which, the Hai Phong area collected VND 58,836.9 billion, reaching 100.1% of the estimated target (VND 58,800 billion) and 98.1% of the target assigned by the People's Council (VND 60,000 billion), an increase of VND 8,224.5 billion, equivalent to an increase of 16.3%. The area of the three provinces of Hai Duong, Hung Yen and Thai Binh collected VND 8,898.4 billion, reaching 115.7% of the estimated target, an increase of VND 1,662.1 billion, equivalent to an increase of 23%.
Some branches with large revenue contributed to the above budget revenue completion results such as: Hai Phong Port Customs Branch Region 1 collected 19,522 billion VND (accounting for 28.8% of total budget revenue), Hai Phong Port Customs Branch Region 3 collected 13,333.5 billion VND (accounting for 19.7% of total budget revenue), Dinh Vu Port Customs Branch collected 9,800.6 billion VND (accounting for 14.5% of total budget revenue), and Investment Processing Goods Management Customs Branch collected 7,975 billion VND (accounting for 11.8% of total budget revenue).
By successfully completing the state budget revenue estimate for 2024, one of the key political tasks of the year, Hai Phong City Customs Department has made an important contribution to the performance of the tasks of the entire Customs sector and Hai Phong city.
