The Customs Department issued an urgent document directing regional customs branches to convert the Ecus6 Electronic Customs System to a cloud computing platform on December 14, 2025, arranging procedures to minimize the impact on businesses.
Specifically, to improve operational efficiency and meet modernization requirements, the Customs Department decided to convert the Ecus6 system from the current version to the cloud computing environment.
Time of implementation: The conversion will take place on December 14, 2025. During this time, the Ecus6 system will temporarily stop operating from 20:00 to 23:59.
The Customs Department requires local customs branches to notify civil servants, businesses, and customs agents in the management area about the temporary suspension of the system.
Units proactively arrange and schedule appropriate customs procedures, minimizing the impact on business operations. After the system is put back into operation, the units will monitor and promptly report the abnormalities to the Information Technology and Customs Statistics Department for coordination in handling.
System access address after conversion: https://ccs6.customs.gov.vn (replaced with http:///10.224.128.226/). For businesses, the connection address remains unchanged after the system conversion.
Converting the Ecus6 system to the cloud may cause some temporary disruptions to customs clearance operations. However, the Customs Department is committed to taking all measures to minimize the impact on businesses.
Enterprises and customs agents should proactively monitor information and arrange plans to carry out customs procedures appropriately during the system conversion period.
