    From March 1, 2025, the Customs system will have a major change when 35 Provincial and Municipal Customs Departments will be reorganized into 20 Regional Customs Branches.

    From March 1, 2025, the General Department of Customs will be replaced by the Customs Department, and at the same time, 35 provincial and municipal Customs Departments will have only 20 regional Customs Branches left. This is the largest restructuring in the history of the Customs sector, aiming to streamline the apparatus, cutting more than 53% of units, helping to increase management efficiency.
