    The General Department of Customs has just issued a decision to temporarily suspend operations for 110 agents carrying out customs procedures in Hanoi.

    The decision was signed by Deputy Director General of the European Customs Department Anh Tuan, effective from the date of issuance. Accordingly, agents were suspended from operations for a maximum period of 6 months, due to failure to report to customs authorities for 3 consecutive times or failure to ensure the conditions for agents to carry out customs procedures.

    After a 6-month period, if the agency does not correct the violation and does not have a written request to continue operating, the General Department of Customs will issue a decision to terminate the operation according to regulations.

    A specific list of agents whose suspensions are announced with this decision. Tightening the management of agents in customs procedures aims to improve transparency and professionalism in import-export activities, ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
