On February 21, in Hanoi, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) held a conference of Chairmen of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces and centrally run cities.
Speaking, Mr. Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front - informed about the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025.
Mr. Do Van Chien emphasized that this is a program that the Politburo, the Secretariat, the General Secretary and the Prime Minister are very interested in.
From the program to mobilize support to build solidarity houses for the poor in Dien Bien province, the Government and the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front launched the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025".
Mr. Do Van Chien suggested that it is necessary to base on the directives of the Prime Minister and the conclusions of the Central Steering Committee for the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses.
Based on the guidance of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of provinces and cities focus on implementing drastically, speeding up the implementation progress to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide by 2025.
Mr. Do Van Chien emphasized that 2025 is the year of drastic implementation of the Party's resolutions to contribute to bringing the country into a new era.
Therefore, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front will implement the following projects: Project on the strategy of Great National Unity; Project on arranging socio-political organizations and mass organizations assigned by the Party and the State to be directly under the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Project on general review of the functions and tasks of affiliated agencies and organizations, especially press agencies, leaving only necessary places.
Other contents are also implemented such as: Piloting project to organize a great unity festival for the entire Vietnamese people abroad in places with conditions; Project of the Presidium calling on the entire people to unite to build our country into a new, strong and prosperous era;
Plan to organize people from all walks of life to contribute opinions on the development of documents for Party Congresses at all levels and the 14th National Congress of the Party; Innovation project to improve the quality and efficiency of activities of Advisory Councils at all levels;
The project to prepare the summary of Directive No. 18-CT/TW of the Secretariat on promoting the role, improving the quality and effectiveness of supervision and social criticism work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations and 4 projects in the document of the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front have been approved.
Mr. Do Van Chien emphasized that the position of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has been and is expected by the Party, State and people, placing his trust in consolidating and firmly promoting the great national unity bloc.
Therefore, each Front officer needs to be faster, more accurate, and make more efforts in implementing tasks to complete the content of the set action program.
