On November 20, speaking at the opening ceremony of the 24th International Agricultural Exhibition - AgroViet 2024, Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien - Director of the Agricultural Trade Promotion Center (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development) emphasized: "In 2024, the Fair will be held with the theme "Connecting value chains, developing green agriculture, circular economy".
The fair aims to promote and expand international economic cooperation and exchange, promote brands, products, trade transactions, and honor high-quality agricultural, forestry and fishery products, OCOP products, and specialty agricultural products from localities across the country. This is also an opportunity for businesses and cooperatives to consolidate and exploit domestic and export markets."
Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien said that within the framework of the Exhibition, the Organizing Committee will coordinate with relevant agencies and units to organize conferences, seminars, and trade programs with content closely following the objectives and themes of the Fair. From there, connecting domestic and international businesses, promoting rural tourism and regional culture, and experiencing Vietnamese culinary culture. These activities will be the highlight attracting the participation of many management units, businesses, and entrepreneurs.
The 24th International Agricultural Exhibition - AgroViet 2024 takes place from November 20 to 23 with 256 standard booths; displaying and introducing a variety of products with many agricultural products, OCOP products, typical local products such as: ST25 golden swallow rice, Dien Bien jasmine rice, Hong Xiem roast duck, Chu Hanh black jelly, Chi Lang custard apple...
The fair also displays and introduces machines and equipment serving production such as: engines, rice mills, lawn mowers, pumps, mini tillers, gasoline chainsaws, tea roasters, tea dryers, tea leaf slicers, pesticide spraying drones...
