Mr. Do Quy Nguyen's family (Dlie Ya commune, Dak Lak) has 5 hectares of coffee and durian. For about 10 years now, he and many households in the area have been chosen by Dak Lak 2-9 Import-Export Company Limited (Simexco DakLak) as a raw material area. The enterprise is committed to stable purchases at reasonable prices, in return, farmers must ensure product quality according to requirements.
"Thanks to the business's technical support for farming, my coffee garden has grown well and is of outstanding quality. Thanks to that, the family has the conditions to renovate the house and take care of their children's education," Mr. Nguyen shared.
Mr. Thai Anh Dung - General Director of Simexco DakLak - said: "After more than a decade of implementing the sustainable value chain program, we have focused on improving productivity and quality of gardens for farmers, while modernizing the processing line and training advanced agricultural techniques".
According to Mr. Dung, the goal is to help farmers reduce production costs, increase productivity, improve quality to increase profits. Thanks to the orientation of sustainable development, Simexco currently maintains a stable export output, builds a raw material area of more than 50,000 hectares, cooperates with 40,000 farming households, and produces over 100,000 tons of sustainable coffee per year.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vien - Director of PM Coffee Company Limited (Dak Lak) - also said: "For small and medium enterprises, sustainable development needs to be closely linked to farmers.Since its establishment, we have built hundreds of hectares of raw material areas, ensuring output so that farmers can feel secure in production.This is a direction that is beneficial to both sides.

The whole province has more than 1,900 enterprises
Currently, Dak Lak province has 19,098 enterprises and branches in operation, including 18,006 enterprises in the province and 1,092 branches of enterprises outside the province.
Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thien Van assessed: "In recent years, the business community in the area has made many positive contributions to socio-economic development. Not only contributing to increasing budget revenue, businesses also create stable jobs for workers, especially ethnic minorities".
Regarding the long-term orientation, Mr. Van said that in order to develop sustainably in the context of a volatile market, small and medium-sized enterprises need to accumulate capital and human resources, while promoting technological innovation and diversifying products to meet market demand.
Implementing Resolution 68 of the Politburo on private economic development, Dak Lak province will issue many policies to support businesses.These include innovation programs, the formation of industry clusters, value chains in the fields of agriculture, industry, logistics, etc. In particular, the province will ensure the rights of businesses in accessing markets, land, resources and credit.
