On November 28, the "first Ho Chi Minh City OCOP Product Trade Connection Events in 2025" with the theme "Integration and Development" organized by the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City, opened at the Revolutionary Traditional House (No. 1 Ba Cu, Vung Tau Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).
Taking place from November 28 to November 30, the event gathered more than 100 booths from Ho Chi Minh City and many provinces and cities across the country, displaying a variety of typical OCOP products including: food, beverages, handicrafts, medicinal herbs and processed agricultural products... The event also brought a vibrant experience space with a livestream program to promote products; cultural - artistic performances and many unique folk games.
The event is of great significance in the context of Ho Chi Minh City entering a new stage of development, more dynamic, more creative, expanding development space, creating new momentum for rural economy, green economy and digital economy.

Attending the opening ceremony, Mr. Bui Minh Thanh - Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee - commented that the new Ho Chi Minh City has diverse natural conditions, socio-economic conditions, many traditional products, many typical craft villages, many agricultural and aquatic production areas that have been formed for a long time.

In the coming time, the Ho Chi Minh City government will accompany OCOP entities in the development journey, focusing on key tasks such as: improving entities' capacity; implementing support programs to promote product consumption; stimulating tourism, OCOP products along with promoting the image of Ho Chi Minh City; encouraging the model of linking production - consumption according to the value chain...
In the program, the Organizing Committee coordinated with the Fatherland Front Committee of Vung Tau Ward (HCMC) to launch and call on organizations and individuals to contribute and support people in the Central provinces and cities who suffered heavy damage due to floods.
At the same time, a seminar on "Promoting the development of the OCOP value chain, connecting consumption and promoting the brand" was also held at the event.
