Lai Chau - Provincial People's Committee requests to accelerate the transfer of management of industrial parks and geology, minerals.

Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee requests departments, branches, and localities to urgently complete the transfer of tasks for management of industrial parks, geology, and minerals, ensuring state management activities and continuously resolving administrative procedures from September 15, 2026.

Implementing Resolution No. 66. 25/2026/NQ-CP of the Government, the Chairman of Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee has requested agencies and units to organize the implementation of the transfer of functions, tasks, and powers according to regulations.

Accordingly, the Department of Industry and Trade is assigned to take the lead in receiving tasks on geology and minerals; and at the same time review administrative procedures, dossier processing procedures and update the system to ensure smooth operation from September 15.

Notably, dossiers on geology and minerals that have been legally received before the Resolution takes effect but have not been resolved will continue to be processed in the remaining time.

People and businesses do not have to return dossiers, redo completed tasks or return fees and charges just because of changes in receiving and appraising agencies.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment and the Department of Construction are responsible for fully handing over dossiers, data, software, accounts and technical infrastructure related to the transfer task.

The Department of Home Affairs advises on organizational structure and personnel plans; the Department of Finance handles the transfer of assets, funds, budget estimates and capital plans.

Meanwhile, the Department of Justice reviews and appraises relevant documents to ensure uniformity in authority.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested agencies and localities to urgently implement and promptly report on tasks that have not been assigned or have problems arising for handling, to prevent gaps in state management.
