According to the report, implementing Plan No. 27/KH-QLTT dated August 14, 2026 of the Hanoi Market Management Sub-Department on deploying market inspection and control, ensuring food safety during the Mid-Autumn Festival of 2026, on September 22, 2026, Market Management Team No. 22 conducted a surprise inspection of business location No. 4 - Changi Bakery Trading and Service Joint Stock Company.
This facility is located at No. 28 Alley 118, Lane 7 Yen Noi, Thuong Cat Ward, Hanoi City, directed by Ms. Nguyen Linh Hieu as director.
At the time of inspection, Ms. Nguyen Linh Hieu could not present a Certificate of eligibility for food safety for the above production location. Functional forces also discovered that the facility used some raw materials of unknown origin to produce mooncakes.
Market Management Team No. 22 has temporarily seized all 214 products, including 195 baked cakes and 19 sticky rice cakes, to continue handling according to the provisions of law.
According to the report, the total amount of penalties expected for the 2 violations is more than 87 million VND.
