On February 2nd, news from the Gia Lai Provincial Market Management Sub-Department said that the inspection team of Market Management Team (QLTT) No. 9 has completed the dossier and submitted to the Team Leader to issue a decision to sanction administrative violations of 17.5 million VND for a business household in the area for the act of trading goods of unknown origin through the social network Facebook.
Previously, through grasping the situation in the area and reviewing e-commerce activities, the Inspection Team of Market Management Team No. 9 conducted a surprise inspection of ready-to-wear clothing business households in Chu Puh commune, Gia Lai province owned by Ms. N.T.N.Q. At the time of inspection, the business household was using a personal Facebook account to livestream and post images selling ready-to-wear clothes.
Through actual inspection, the business household owner could not present invoices and documents proving the legal origin of 1,220 types of clothing products; at the same time, these products have no basis to determine the place of production or origin of goods. The total value of violating goods was determined to be 42,700,000 VND.
The inspection team made a record of administrative violations, submitted to the Team Leader for issuance a decision to sanction with a fine of 17.5 million VND for the act of trading goods of unknown origin; and at the same time applied an additional penalty form of confiscating all 1,220 violating clothing products for handling according to the provisions of law.
