The only enterprise considered for gold exploration in Yen Tho commune, Cao Bang
According to PV's investigation, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment announced the results of selecting organizations and individuals to consider issuing mineral exploration licenses in areas without auctioning exploitation rights. In Khuoi Sap area, Yen Tho commune, Thinh Dat Joint Stock Company is the only unit to submit a dossier requesting gold ore exploration and was selected by the Ministry for consideration and licensing.
However, being selected does not mean that the enterprise has been granted an exploration license. The Ministry requests Thinh Dat Company to complete the dossier, which must supplement a report on the mineral operation situation in the last 5 years (if any), compliance with the law on geology and minerals and violations, and handling status if any.
Notably, gold belongs to the list of strategic and important minerals of Vietnam in the period 2025-2030, with a vision to 2045. After completing the dossier as required, Thinh Dat Company must send it to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment for consideration and settlement according to regulations. See more...
