330 counterfeit brand products discovered in Hung Yen
From May 19-31, Market Management Team No. 8 of Hung Yen province conducted a surprise inspection of 6 clothing and footwear business households and discovered 330 products showing signs of counterfeiting trademarks protected in Vietnam, with a total value of more than 27 million VND.

After the appraisal process, functional agencies determined that all of the above goods were counterfeit trademarks. Functional forces temporarily seized exhibits, made records of administrative violations and fined 6 business households with a total amount of 36 million VND.
All violating goods are forced to be destroyed according to regulations. At the same time, market management agencies continue to propagate and guide business establishments to comply with the law, not to trade in counterfeit goods, goods of unknown origin and goods infringing intellectual property rights. Gold prices fall below 158 million VND/tael, some people take the opportunity to buy in
Domestic gold prices fell below 158 million VND/tael, however, the trading market on Tran Nhan Tong street (Hanoi) has become more open. There is no longer the scene of people queuing or waiting for many hours as in previous months.

At gold shops, the number of customers coming to trade is moderate, mainly buying gold rings for hoarding or as gifts. The supply of gold rings is quite stable, customers can receive gold immediately after completing the payment.

Agricultural exports accelerate in 5 months, reaching nearly 31 billion USD
In the first 5 months of 2026, Vietnam's agricultural sector maintained positive growth momentum with stable agricultural, forestry and fishery production. The whole country has cultivated nearly 3 million hectares of Winter-Spring rice, with an output of nearly 14 million tons; the Summer-Autumn crop also increased the cultivated area. Export activities continue to improve thanks to the effective exploitation of FTAs and market expansion.

Export turnover of agricultural, forestry and fishery products reached 30.69 billion USD, up 9.2% over the same period; imports reached 22.28 billion USD, bringing the trade surplus to 8.41 billion USD. China continues to be the largest market with a growth rate of 28.4%, while the EU and Japan also maintain positive growth. Although the world economy still has many fluctuations, the agricultural sector still maintains positive results.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment sets a target of industry-wide growth of 3.7-4% in 2026, while promoting institutional improvement through amendments to major laws on environment, resources and land. See more...
