Improving provincial competitiveness
On the afternoon of January 9, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to organize a workshop "Improving provincial competitiveness, improving the investment and business environment of Lam Dong province".

The workshop was attended by representatives of departments, branches, units and especially more than 100 experts, investors, and businesses inside and outside the province.
This is an opportunity for Lam Dong province to comprehensively assess the current situation of provincial competitiveness in the new context, clearly identify bottlenecks and barriers in the investment and business environment; and listen to policy recommendations and solutions for improvement from experts, the business community and VCCI.

At the conference, Mr. Ho Van Muoi - Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee - said that after the merger, the province has a large economic space, deep regional linkages, allowing for effective exploitation of comprehensive potential in land, climate, forest - sea resources, minerals and people.

However, the quality of improving the investment and business environment of the province still has bottlenecks, especially administrative procedures, policy forecasting, compliance costs, administrative discipline and order, and the quality of implementation in some fields and localities. These are issues that the province does not avoid but considers as motivations for stronger reforms," Mr. Ho Van Muoi emphasized.

Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee affirmed that the province is committed to building a constructive, incorruptible, and action-oriented government; promoting administrative procedure reform, substantive digital transformation; accompanying and supporting businesses; resolutely handling acts that cause trouble, harassment, and reduce investor confidence.
