Official dispatch sent to the Management Board of Bac Ninh Industrial Parks; Departments: Construction, Agriculture and Environment; People's Committees of Nhan Thang and Cao Duc communes and Hanaka Group Joint Stock Company.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province agreed in principle to plan the Gia Binh II industrial park expansion subdivision (in Nhan Thang commune, Cao Duc commune); with a total planning area of about 140 hectares.
In which: transferring Hanaka industrial park with an area of about 55 hectares (moving from Dong Nguyen ward to Nhan Thang commune, Cao Duc commune), expanding Gia Binh II industrial park by about 38 hectares; external traffic, other technical infrastructure: corridor of National Highway 17, DT282B, drainage canal system... and connecting infrastructure works around the industrial park with an area of about 50 hectares.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province also assigned the above departments and branches, according to their functions and tasks, to coordinate and guide the implementation of the next steps in accordance with the procedures and regulations of the law.
It is known that Gia Binh II Industrial Park has a scale of 250 hectares. This project started in July 2023, with Hanaka Group as the investor, with a total investment of VND 3,956.8 billion.
To date, the project has attracted many secondary investors to build factories. Notable among them is the Glory faith Vietnam Electronics Factory Project under KingBoard Group with a total area of over 44,000m2, total investment capital of 120 million USD.
This is the first ecological - circular industrial park model in Bac Ninh province, will attract domestic and foreign investors in the fields of high technology, friendliness, environmental protection such as processing industry, manufacturing, transportation, warehousing, information and communication...
After the merger, Bac Ninh has 33 industrial parks with a total area of over 10,100 hectares, with an occupancy rate of about 56%.
In the first 9 months of the year, Bac Ninh province has attracted over 15 billion USD in converted investment capital. Of which, 162 new domestic investment projects and 262 FDI projects were granted. In terms of FDI attraction alone, Bac Ninh is currently leading the country.
