Fishermen in coastal areas of Lam Dong are entering the peak of the Southern fish crop. This is the most important fishing season of the year, lasting from May to September of the lunar calendar, bringing in a large source of income.

In Mui Ne ward, the atmosphere is even more bustling when many ships consecutively hit the channel of anchovies, fish species considered the "sea luck" of the Southern season.
At 7am, the boat mooring area at Bai Bai behind Mui Ne was bustling. Each basket filled with fresh and golden rice fish baskets in the early morning sunlight is brought from the boat to shore, creating a bustling sea season scene.

The price of anchovies is being purchased by traders at a stable price of 13,000 - 15,000 VND/kg. High output along with stable purchase prices makes fishermen excited because their income is guaranteed.

The anchovies season lasts about 3 months (from June to August of the lunar calendar).
Currently, Mui Ne ward has hundreds of boats and thousands of workers fishing for anchovies.

Hundreds of boats and thousands of workers in Mui Ne participate in fishing and processing. Not only do fishermen go out to sea and get a lot of money, but workers on the shore also have more jobs and stable income.
