On December 17, 2025, Thien Viet Securities Joint Stock Company (TVS) and Thien Viet Fund Management Company (TVAM) launched eWealth - a digital platform for investment consulting and asset management integrated with technology, data science ( Data Science), artificial intelligence (AI) and investment consulting and management capabilities that TVS and TVAM have developed over nearly two decades in the Vietnamese market.
Ms. Nguyen Thanh Thao - General Director of TVS - said: Vietnam is entering a period of similar asset growth in Asian markets such as China, where Hybrid Wealth Management has become an essential trend in asset management.
This opens up the need for platforms that are both transparent, easy to access, and ensure professional depth. We position eWealth as a strategic step forward in that journey and expect the platform to contribute to shaping new standards for asset management in Vietnam, supporting investors to accumulate and develop sustainable assets in the long term".
According to the survey report "Current situation and needs of Vietnamese people for Personal asset management in 2025" conducted by TVAM, 77% of investors have difficulty managing their assets, of which 51% are affected by emotions and 48% lack professional knowledge.
Meanwhile, PwC (2023) report shows that 70% of global investors want a combination of digital platforms and live consulting services, especially in the group of high-income but not-rich investors (HENRYs).
TVAM's survey results show that 75% of investors only focus on investing in 23 main channels such as savings and gold, the number of investors flexibly allocating assets is still limited. In addition to savings, investors' assets are mainly allocated to gold (20%) and real estate (15%).
High-income individual investors still allocate a lot of assets into simple, easy-to-understand channels such as gold and real estate. However, the group with an income of VND500 million/year or more tends to participate more in complex investment products such as stocks, bonds and fund certificates than the lower income group.
In terms of investment experience, very few investors with more than 5 years of experience only invest in one channel. Most of this group allocates to 2-3 channels, while the investment ratio of 4-5 channels is also higher than that of the less experienced group. Gold is still the main choice for experienced investors. Notably, the proportion of less experienced investors participating in stock investment is higher than the group with more experience.
Based on educational level, highly qualified investors tend to allocate assets more flexibly, with an investment rate of 4-5 channels twice as high as other groups. This group also tends to participate in more complex financial products such as contributing capital to buy stocks and investing in fund certificates. Meanwhile, investors who are self-conscious about having low financial knowledge often choose safe channels such as insurance and bonds.
Thus, savings, gold, real estate and insurance deposits are the initial investment channels of the majority of investors, with a relatively long participation period, over 3 years.
Despite different risk tastes, savings and gold still account for a large proportion of the portfolio of the majority of investors. Most investors expect a profit of over 7%/year, of which 43% expect a loss of 15 30%/year, while 57% only accept a loss of less than 5%.
According to Mr. Tran Vinh Quang, General Director of TVAM, in the context of a volatile financial market, the demand for transparent information and in-depth analysis is increasing. Therefore, the model of combining technology and investment consulting is being chosen by many organizations to support individual investors in long-term asset management.
Mr. Quang said that the application of AI aims to support investors in handling common "blind spots" such as time limitations, large volumes of data and psychological factors in the decision-making process.
