On the morning of May 26, the delegation of Dong Thap province attended the opening ceremony of Thaifex Anuga Asia 2026 in the Kingdom of Thailand, led by Mr. Phan Van Thang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province as head of the delegation. The highlight of Dong Thap at this year's fair is the product "Salad mì chùm ngây" of Sa Giang Import-Export Joint Stock Company, which excellently entered the Top 10 winning products at the Thaifex – Anuga tasteInnovation 2026 contest.
This is a contest honoring innovative food products, meeting the new consumption trends of the international market. The fact that Dong Thap enterprise's products are honored at one of the largest food fairs in Asia not only affirms the quality and innovation capacity of local businesses, but also opens up opportunities to promote Vietnamese processed food brands to many international markets.
It is known that within the framework of the program, Dong Thap province participates in 2 booths with a total area of 18m2, introducing many outstanding products with export potential. Participating businesses include: Tri Son Co., Ltd., Nam Huy Dong Thap One Member Co., Ltd., Farm 123 Co., Ltd. and Viet Tin Food Import-Export Co., Ltd.
The working delegation of Dong Thap province also visited the booth of Sa Giang Import-Export Joint Stock Company - a business with products winning awards at this year's fair.
Thaifex Anuga Asia is the leading food and beverage industry fair in Asia, gathering more than 50 countries to participate with 12 showrooms on an area of about 140,000m2. The event takes place until May 30, 2026, creating opportunities for businesses to connect trade, find partners and expand export markets. This is a playground contributing to promoting the dynamic and creative local image, gradually bringing agricultural products and processed foods of Dong Thap deeper into the global supply chain.
