State budget revenue in Da Nang continues to increase

Da Nang - According to the City's Statistics Office, state budget revenue in the first 10 months of 2024 continued to increase compared to the same period last year.

This result was achieved thanks to the drastic direction in budget collection and expenditure; focusing on synchronous implementation of solutions on tax collection, fees and other revenues, land use fees and land rents; supporting to remove difficulties for businesses and people, guiding and creating the most favorable conditions for businesses and people to enjoy support policies of the city government.

Total state budget revenue in the city as of October 25, 2024 is estimated to reach VND 21,064 billion, an increase of 29.5% over the same period in 2023. Of which, central budget revenue is VND 5,304 billion, local budget revenue is VND 15,760 billion.

In the total state budget revenue, domestic revenue activities continue to account for the majority (88.5%) and are the basis for balancing expenditure sources during the year.

In total domestic revenue, the revenue items with a high proportion include revenue from the non-state industrial and commercial sector accounting for 21.4%, up 44.8% over the same period in 2023; revenue from foreign-invested enterprises accounting for 19.2%, up 45.1%; personal income tax accounting for 13.4%, up 39.5%; revenue from housing and land accounting for 11.8%, up 13.6%; revenue from state-owned enterprises accounting for 6.0%, up 19.6% over the same period in 2023.
