In 2024, the Government assigned Thai Nguyen province a state budget revenue estimate of VND 16,120 billion, and the Provincial People's Council assigned a revenue of VND 19,515 billion. By the end of October, the total state budget revenue in the province reached VND 13,965 billion, reaching 86.6% of the estimate assigned by the Government.
Of which, domestic revenue reached 11,800 billion VND, import-export tax revenue was 2,050 billion VND; donations and contributions were 115 billion VND.
According to the Provincial Statistics Office, the province's budget revenue in 2024 is estimated to reach VND 19,680 billion, exceeding VND 3,560 billion, about 22% compared to the estimate assigned by the Government and exceeding 0.8% compared to the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council.
Of which, domestic revenue is estimated at 17,000 billion VND, import-export tax revenue is estimated at 2,550 billion VND, mobilized and contributed funds are estimated at 120 billion VND.
With this estimated result, Thai Nguyen will continue to be in the group of 18 provinces and cities leading the country in budget revenue, self-balancing budget and having a central budget regulation rate of 4% in 2024, equivalent to 327 billion VND.
