On July 2, the Market Management Department of Quang Tri province said that Market Management Team No. 3 has coordinated with relevant units to supervise the destruction of shipments without invoices or documents proving legal origin.
The batch of violating goods includes 460 smuggled food products such as shredded chicken feet, processed duck wings, many types of foreign candy and 792 soap cakes of unknown origin.
All of the goods were discovered at 2 business households Nguyen Thi Hang Nga and Thac San Ba Mien (old Quang Trach district) during the peak inspection against smuggling and trade fraud in 2025 by the Market Management force.
After verifying the violation, Market Management Team No. 3 issued a decision to administratively fine 2 business households 16 million VND, and forced the destruction of all exhibits.
The destruction process took place in accordance with legal regulations, witnessed by market management forces and functional departments, ensuring environmental safety and hygiene.
A representative of the Market Management Department of Quang Tri province said that this activity aims to strengthen market inspection and control, contributing to protecting consumer rights and preventing the trade of smuggled and counterfeit goods in the area.
