On the afternoon of March 28, the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province worked with Vietnam Airlines Corporation. In the future, Phan Thiet Airport, when completed and put into operation, will create a strong push for local development, helping Binh Thuan connect faster with major domestic and foreign economic centers.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Do Huu Huy - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province requested Vietnam Airlines to support the image of Binh Thuan on flights to contribute to promoting the image of Binh Thuan to domestic and international friends. At the same time, calculate the opening of the flight route when Phan Thiet airport is completed and create job conditions at the airport for Binh Thuan people.
According to Mr. Huy, if Phan Thiet airport starts construction of the BOT project by the end of 2025, it is expected to be completed in 2026.
