It is hard to believe that Steve Jobs' parking lot is where the Apple giant was founded.
In 1977, while developing an Apple II computer, Steve Jobs decided to move to a house at 20863 levels levels levels levels levels levels levels levels, Cupertino, which could be considered Apple's first truly located facility. The house has become a part of Apple's history, attracting many tourists.
Currently, Apple's headquarters is located in the center of Sillicon Valley, 1-6 Infinite Loop, Cupertino, California. With a cost of 5 billion USD, this is the 3rd most expensive building at the time of completion, not only in the US but also worldwide.
The Google search giant officially has its headquarters in the parking lot of house number 232, Santa Margarita Avenue, Menlo Park on September 4, 1998 after receiving a $100,000 sponsorship grant from Andy Bechtolsheim.
Larry Page and Sergey Brin rented the headquarters to Susan Wojcicki for $1,700 a month. After that, Susan Wojcicki became one of the 12 senior vice presidents of the company. When Google was successful, the house was bought in 2006 as a souvenir.
Currently, Google has a series of headquarters with creative and unique designs located in many countries around the world such as the US, Russia, Sweden, Germany, etc.
Amazon
Not only Steve Jobs, Larry Page and Sergey Brin laid the initial foundation for their empire in the parking lot, so did Jeff Bezos. He founded Amazon.com in 1994 in the parking lot of his house at 10704, NE 28th, Bellevue, Washington.
Currently, Amazon's international headquarters includes 14 buildings in South Lake, Seattle. 11 of these were acquired from vulcan for $1.16 billion in 2012. Photo: The Guardian.
