Vietjet opens flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Nagoya and Fukuoka, strengthens Vietnam - Japan connectivity

Strengthening Vietnam's connection with the world, Vietjet has launched two new routes to Nagoya and Fukuoka, two unique cities of Japan, providing convenient and easy travel opportunities for people and tourists, while expanding opportunities to explore the unique cultural values of the land of the "Rising Sun".

The two new routes were opened to the welcomes of Vietjet leaders, people and tourists from the two countries at the airports of Ho Chi Minh City and Nagoya, Fukuoka.

Flights connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Nagoya will officially serve passengers from 24.4.2025 with 4 round trips per week on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. Along with that, the Ho Chi Minh City - Fukuoka route will open from 25.04.2025 with 3 round trips per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

With two new routes launched, Vietjet increases the total number of flights connecting Vietnam with the land of the "born sun" to 138 per week, connecting major cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka and Hiroshima. This is an important milestone in the airline's strategy to expand its flight network.

Nagoya and Fukuoka are both unique cities of Japan, giving visitors the opportunity to explore their culture, history and typical cuisine. Nagoya, a major commercial and industrial center of Japan, stands out with modern architectural works. Meanwhile, Fukuoka, a city on Kyushu Island, is famous for its ancient temples and large parks. Both of these routes not only connect vibrant cities of Japan but also bring visitors diverse and unique cultural and tourism experiences.

On the other hand, people and tourists from Japan will also have the opportunity to visit Ho Chi Minh City, the economic, cultural center, the most vibrant city in Vietnam with more famous and expanded street food and Vietjet's international and over-the-counter flight network.
