Vietjet airline received the Prime Minister's certificate of merit for the achievement in time to promptly coordinate the successful organization of two special flights, transport the mission of the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Defense and more than 60 tons of relief to Yangon, Myanmar. This is a recognition for the practical and meaningful contributions of Vietjet, contributing to the overall success of the Vietnam Relief Delegation, and at the same time showing the spirit of kindness, international responsibility and raising the image of the country in global humanitarian activities.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Defense had a meeting, commended the rescue and rescue delegation of Vietnam to return from Myanmar after successfully completing the task of supporting the consequences of serious earthquakes that occurred on March 28. The Prime Minister highly appreciated Vietjet who pioneered, promptly coordinated to support, showed the spirit of solidarity, high responsibility, not much discussion, proposed to do immediately, not hesitate.
Less than 24 hours after receiving the mission, Vietjet quickly completed all technical and logistical work and requested flight permits to deploy two flights with flight numbers VJ2875 and VJ2877, using the A330 wide-body aircraft and the modern A321 aircraft. Two flights departed from Noi Bai airport, Hanoi on the afternoon of March 30, bringing 106 officers, soldiers of the armed forces, service dogs and more than 60 tons of relief goods including medical equipment, food, etc. to Myanmar.
At Yangon airport, immediately after landing, the rescue team and Vietjet team quickly unloaded and transported goods to the most severely affected areas. Police and military soldiers immediately deployed search and rescue work, provided medical care and supported people to overcome the consequences of the disaster.

The strong earthquake of 7.7 on Richter in Myanmar on March 28 caused serious damage: more than 1,600 people were killed, nearly 3,500 people were injured and hundreds of people are missing. Many infrastructure works were destroyed, while the impact of the earthquake also spread to Thailand and Vietnam.
