On the afternoon of April 22, Federal Express Group (FedEx), one of the world's largest express delivery companies, and Viettel Post Corporation (Viettel Post) officially announced the establishment of a strategic cooperation relationship in Vietnam.
This agreement covers the activities of receiving and delivering goods nationwide while strengthening cross-border logistics connectivity.
From April 26, 2026, Viettel Post will take on the role of FedEx's National Network Operator (NNP) in Vietnam, supporting the deployment of advanced operating models to improve network efficiency, increase flexibility in deployment and improve service quality nationwide.
Within the framework of this cooperation, FedEx will take advantage of Viettel Post's nationwide coverage network, powerful fleet and solid domestic infrastructure to better serve customers in Vietnam's rapidly developing trading and e-commerce markets.
Viettel Post will take on key operating roles, including: the process of receiving and delivering goods from beginning to end, warehouse operation, and customs clearance coordination activities to create conditions for cross-border logistics flow to become more efficient, synchronous and reliable.
The integration of FedEx's global logistics operation network with Viettel Post's domestic logistics infrastructure creates a more seamless end-to-end supply chain. This contributes to enhancing customer experience with high flexibility, optimized shipping time and expanded service coverage.
Thanks to shortening delivery time and extending receipt time, Vietnamese businesses will have a more favorable position to access international markets, especially in the context of strong growth in cross-border trade.
Vietnam is playing an increasingly important role in the global supply chain with total trade turnover exceeding the 930 billion USD mark in 2025.
In this context, strengthening direct connection between domestic logistics infrastructure and international networks is a key factor to improve export capacity and promote trade flows.

Mr. Masamichi Ujiie, FedEx President for the North and South Pacific region, said: "Vietnam continues to be an important strategic market in FedEx's regional growth strategy.
Through cooperation with a leading and reputable national logistics unit like Viettel Post, we reaffirm our long-term commitment in Vietnam, while improving the capacity to provide faster, more flexible and better global connection services to customers".
Mr. Dinh Thanh Son, Deputy General Director of Viettel Post, shared: "This cooperation reflects the common commitment of the two sides to the spirit of innovation, improving operational efficiency and optimizing customer experience. This is an important step forward in Viettel Post's development journey, from building strong domestic capacity to deeper integration into the global supply chain.
By directly connecting our national infrastructure to FedEx's global network, Vietnamese businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, will have better access to the international market through a more seamless and optimal logistics chain”.
As a key member unit of Viettel Group, one of the largest state-owned enterprises in Vietnam, Viettel Post possesses a strong brand value along with in-depth operational capabilities and a network covering 34 provinces and cities.
