On August 3, in Hanoi, the Party Committee of the Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group (Petrovietnam) held the 4th Congress of Delegates, term 2025-2030.

The 4th Congress is tasked with comprehensively assessing the results of the implementation of the Congress Resolution for the 2020-2025 term, and at the same time determining the direction, tasks and breakthrough solutions for the 2025-2030 term.
With the new mission and vision, Petrovietnam clearly established a commitment to comprehensive innovation, determined to transform the operating model, repositioning strategies, affirming its core role, leading and creating development momentum in the fields of industry and energy, promoting the pioneering role of state-owned enterprises in implementing major national goals.
In the past time, Party organizations under the Group Party Committee have completed grassroots congresses in the spirit of innovation, democracy, seriousness and practicality, in accordance with Directive 45-CT/TW of the Politburo, the plan and instructions of the Government Party Committee and the Group Party Committee.
The congresses not only conducted an in-depth review of leadership work and comprehensive assessment of the results of implementing political tasks and Party building work in the past term, but also drew lessons of experience with high practical value.

Typically, according to Petrovietnam Chairman Le Manh Hung, the total revenue of the whole Group is currently equivalent to 9-10% of the country's GDP; the total state budget contribution accounts for 8-9% of the total national budget revenue, affirming its role as one of the financial pillars of the economy.
The revenue scale in 2025 is expected to increase by 87% compared to 2020, in 2024 alone, Petrovietnam will surpass the revenue mark of over 1 million billion VND for the first time.
