In the context of the world increasingly interested in green lifestyles and environmental protection, designer Nguyen Thi Huu (born in 1979, Hanoi) has found a way to connect Vietnamese folk cultural values with modern consumer needs.

By applying Dong Ho, Hang Trong and Kim Hoang folk paintings to essential products such as lamps, handbags, notebooks, Ms. Nguyen Thi Huu not only brings the beauty of traditional art but also helps the younger generation understand and love national cultural heritage.

The journey of "green" creativity and environmental protection

Nguyen Thi Huu shared that her creative journey began with a deep passion for Vietnamese folk culture, especially ancient folk paintings. After organizing cultural experience programs, she realized that many people, especially the younger generation, are eager to own products imbued with traditional cultural impressions. This has motivated her to create items that are not only beautiful but also useful, easily integrated with modern life, while still retaining the spirit of folk paintings.

To protect the environment and ensure sustainability, Nguyen Thi Huu chooses organic materials such as bamboo, wood and Do paper for her products. These materials not only protect the health of consumers but also demonstrate a commitment to preserving and promoting folk cultural values. Ms. Huu confided: "We always prioritize the use of traditional materials, not only preserving the original beauty of folk paintings but also meeting the requirements of the green living trend".

Combining folk paintings with natural materials such as bamboo and wood not only creates beautiful products but also contributes to sustainable development and conveys the message of environmental protection.

Despite strong support, this creative journey is not without challenges. She and her creative team always want the product to be a perfect combination of traditional elements and modern style. In addition to choosing materials, applying folk painting images to sophisticated and complex designs of products is not easy. Despite the support of modern technology, manual steps are still an indispensable factor to create perfect products. For example, painting on lanterns, painting on ceramics or making heat-retaining bottles from natural bamboo tubes requires meticulousness and dedication from the craftsman.

Spreading love for national heritage

One of the important factors that made Nguyen Thi Huu's products successful was the warm acceptance from young people. In the context of modern society, where consumer trends change rapidly, her products are not only beautiful but also carry profound historical and cultural values.

"We were very surprised to see that young people not only love folk paintings but also understand the cultural message behind each rustic feature," Ms. Huu expressed.

The beauty of folk paintings is not only in their form but also in the philosophies of life and the humanistic values they bring. For her, creating products is not only for decoration, but to tell a story about the culture, history and soul of Vietnamese people. The paintings she chooses are often historical or favorite paintings, bringing users a source of positive energy, joy in work and study.

With each product, Nguyen Thi Huu not only wants to preserve the beauty of folk culture but also wants to widely introduce it to international friends, helping them understand and appreciate the value of Vietnamese folk art.

She believes that combining tradition and modernity will help spread the love for national heritage, especially in the young community. With these efforts, Nguyen Thi Huu hopes that each of her products will become a bridge to help the younger generation feel more deeply about the value of national culture, thereby preserving and promoting this precious heritage in the context of globalization.

Nguyen Thi Huu's journey is a vivid testament to the harmonious combination of tradition and modernity, environmental protection and economic development. With her creative team, Ms. Huu hopes that the products will not only stop at the domestic market but will reach out to the world, contributing to preserving and promoting the cultural values of the Vietnamese ethnic group in the context of globalization.
