Speaking after the Congress, General Secretary To Lam emphasized the consistent spirit of the Resolution is "continuous innovation, new thinking, new actions", rapid and sustainable development, towards the vision goal to 2045, building a prosperous, happy, and strong Vietnam.
From these major orientations, it can be seen that the renovation requirements of the 14th Party Congress are not only of strategic significance at the macro level, but also directly set very specific tasks for each level, each sector, and each organization in the political system, including the Trade Union organization.
In that context, it is determined that the Trade Union organization is not only a force for propaganda and mobilization, but must truly become a pioneer in realizing the spirit of the 14th Congress from the grassroots level, closely linking the aspiration for development with specific and practical actions for workers and the development of enterprises. Deeply grasping that spirit, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union focuses on innovating leadership and direction methods in the direction of closely following the orientations of the Central Government, the province and requirements from grassroots practice; and at the same time strongly orienting activities towards the grassroots level, thoroughly grasping and effectively implementing the motto: "Successful enterprise - Happy workers - Strong Trade Union".
In that spirit, the roles of the subjects are clearly established: Union members and workers are the center; businesses are the foundation; Trade unions are the fulcrum; trade union officials are companions; practice of innovation and creativity is the driving force of development. This is not only a guiding viewpoint, but also a consistent action motto in the organization and operation of Thanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union in the new period.
Based on that general orientation, the 21st Thanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030, has concretized the central emulation movement "5 pioneers", "5 companions" into models to be implemented in many fields, with a focus on "5 pioneers": Pioneering in research, innovation, digital transformation; pioneering in building culture, working environment to create motivation, arouse the aspiration to contribute of workers; pioneering in international integration; pioneering for community life; pioneering in building a clean and strong Party and political system.
In parallel with that, "5 companions" are implemented synchronously, focusing on key contents: Caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; improving political bravery, professional qualifications, professional skills; building an industrial, professional, and modern working style; building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations; caring for and developing the material and spiritual life of workers; promoting gender equality and the progressive development of female union members and workers.
From the spirit of innovation of the 14th Congress to the specific actions of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union is a strong transformation in thinking and operating methods. One of the important new points of the 14th Congress is the requirement to innovate development thinking, from passive to proactive; from one-sided to comprehensive; from isolated to connected; from quantitative to qualitative; from serving to serving, creating; from broad growth to development based on quality, science - technology and high-quality human resources. This poses for the Trade Union organization the task of not only caring for and protecting, but also accompanying and creating human resources for development.
Concretizing the spirit of innovation
The movement "5 pioneers, 5 companions" of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation is directly concretizing that spirit. If "5 pioneers" establish the leading and pioneering role of workers and trade union organizations in innovation, integration, building organizations and communities, then "5 companions" clearly affirm the central function of the Trade Union in caring for, training, protecting, improving the quality of life and sustainable development of the labor force.
The highlight of the movement is the strong shift from passive to proactive, from serving to serving - creating, in line with the spirit emphasized by General Secretary To Lam: innovation is not in batches, in stages, but a continuous process, associated with each level, each sector, and each organization.
In the Trade Union organization system, Commune and ward Trade Unions play a particularly important role in bringing the Party's Resolution into grassroots life. With 41 Commune and ward Trade Unions in the province, the task is not limited to launching movements, but must be concretized into models, tasks and measurable results. First of all, it is pioneering in building strong organizations, expanding coverage, effectively implementing the motto "where there are businesses, there are Trade Unions"; and at the same time, selecting one to two typical models of innovation, workers' culture, and harmonious labor relations for each unit to create "bright spots" spreading from the grassroots level.
Along with that, the Commune and Ward Trade Unions are the core force in accompanying and improving political bravery, professional qualifications, and industrial style for workers; proactively coordinate to organize dialogues and supervise the implementation of labor laws, promptly mediate, and prevent the emergence of hot spots and spontaneous strikes - in accordance with the spirit of building a disciplined and stable society set out by the 14th Congress.
If the 14th Congress sets a goal of rapid and effective development, then the grassroots trade union is the place to turn that goal into productivity, quality and competitiveness of each enterprise. With nearly 900 grassroots trade unions and over 300 thousand union members and workers in the province, Thanh Hoa's workforce is assigned the mission of taking the lead in innovation, digital transformation, green transformation, developing tens of thousands of initiatives, building the model "Digital Trade Union, Digital Workers". This is not just an emulation movement, but a strategy to build a modern workforce - a key force to realize the goal of rapid and sustainable growth.
In the "5 companionships", grassroots trade unions play a central role in building harmonious - stable - progressive labor relations, improving the quality of collective labor agreements, ensuring periodic dialogues, taking care of welfare, health, housing, and spiritual cultural life for workers. The model "Successful business - Happy workers - Strong Trade Union" is not only a slogan, but also a real measure of sustainable development. At the same time, grassroots trade unions are also an important force in building the Party in enterprises, discovering, fostering, and introducing outstanding union members, contributing to consolidating the political foundation in the private economic sector and FDI.
The core spirit of the 14th Congress is to arouse the aspiration to develop the nation. With the Thanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union, that aspiration is concretized by building the image of a worker in the new era: Having knowledge, having skills, having discipline, having social responsibility and having firm political belief. Through the movement "5 pioneers, 5 companions", each union member and worker is not only a subject of care, but also becomes a subject of innovation, directly contributing to the competitiveness of enterprises and the rapid and sustainable development of the province.
From innovation to building corporate culture, from international integration to community activities, from building trade union organizations to comprehensively caring for workers' lives - all form a large action program, clearly showing the role of Thanh Hoa Provincial Trade Union in pioneering the realization of the spirit of the 14th Congress.
In the journey towards the goal of Thanh Hoa being among the leading provinces in the country by 2030, becoming a rich, beautiful, civilized, and happy province by 2045 according to the Resolution of the 20th Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, Trade Unions at all levels will continue to affirm their position as the core socio-political force in building a modern working class, accompanying businesses, contributing to realizing the aspirations of the Party, the province and each worker to develop.
