On August 28, a working delegation of the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor, led by Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor, visited and presented support gifts to two union member families in especially difficult circumstances in the province.
The working group visited the family of Ms. Phan Thi Nguyet, a union member of Gia Binh High School No. 1. The family's life faced harsh challenges when Ms. Nguyet suffered from terminal cancer in 2017. That same year, her son unfortunately had an accident and had to undergo cranial surgery, leading to hemiplegia and many other serious sequelae.
After a long time of steadfastly fighting the disease, Ms. Phan Thi Nguyet passed away. Currently, the family still has a husband and two young children, and life is extremely difficult.
On behalf of the Provincial Federation of Labor, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung sent his deepest condolences and encouraged the family to try to overcome the loss and difficulties in the future. The working group presented 10 million VND in support, demonstrating the timely concern and sharing of the trade union organization for its union members.
Also during the trip, the delegation visited the family of Ms. Hoang Thi Huyen, Head of the warehouse of Won San Vina Company Limited. Ms. Huyen's family has just suffered heavy losses after the fire that occurred on August 5. The fire burned down the entire 300m2 garage and 6 passenger cars, causing huge economic damage.
Ms. Huyen is taking care of her elderly parents-in-law (without pensions) and three young children (in grade 5, grade 3 and a 2-year-old child). The health of the whole family was also affected after the fire, when her mother-in-law suffered minor burns and her father-in-law is currently in the hospital.
Faced with the difficulties, the working group kindly visited and encouraged Ms. Huyen's family. Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung expressed his deep sympathy and hoped the family would soon stabilize their lives. The Provincial Federation of Labor has provided support of 5 million VND to help the family cover part of living expenses and overcome initial consequences.
The timely visit and support activities of the Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor not only have material significance but are also a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping families have more determination to overcome life's events.
