The Tien Phong Ward Trade Union (Bac Ninh Province) in coordination with the Board of Directors of enterprises has just held a conference to announce the decision to establish the Bac Giang International Logistics Company Limited's grassroots trade union.
At the Conference, representatives of Tien Phong Ward Trade Union announced and presented the Decision to establish the Trade Union of Bac Giang International Logistics Company Limited, and appointed a provisional Executive Committee of 3 comrades. Comrade Nguyen Van Quan was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union.
The establishment of the Trade Union organization at Bac Giang International Logistics Company Limited meets the legitimate aspirations of the collective of employees, trusted representatives to protect the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members.
Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Van Quan - Chairman of the Trade Union emphasized: During the first term, the Executive Committee will focus on developing regulations to coordinate with the Board of Directors, implementing well the grassroots democracy regulations and taking care of the material and spiritual life of union members. At the same time, the grassroots trade union will be a solid bridge between workers and enterprises, striving for the goal of "Solidarity - Innovation - Development - For the rights of union members".
Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Ngo Quyet Thang - Chairman of Tien Phong Ward Trade Union congratulated the establishment of the Trade Union of Bac Giang International Logistics Company Limited and the new Executive Committee. Comrade Ngo Quyet Thang suggested that the Executive Committee of the Trade Union should quickly stabilize the organization, develop operating regulations and closely follow the direction of the higher-level Trade Union. In particular, in the context of the strong development and high competition of the Logistics service industry, the grassroots trade union needs to promote its role as a center of solidarity, encourage workers to enthusiastically produce and improve labor productivity.
At the same time, the Executive Board needs to proactively coordinate closely with the Company's Board of Directors to negotiate and sign Collective Labor Agreements with provisions that are more beneficial to employees than the law; promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members to harmoniously resolve labor relations.
The company's leaders affirmed that they will create the most favorable conditions for the Trade Union to operate effectively, while closely coordinating with the Executive Board in activities to care for life, ensure welfare regimes, help employees feel secure in their work and stay with the enterprise for a long time.
