On December 20, the Binh Duong Provincial Federation of Labor held a conference to summarize trade union activities in 2024. Attending the program were Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan - Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee, Ms. Nguyen Kim Loan - President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, and representatives of departments, branches, and trade union officials at all levels in Binh Duong province.
According to the Binh Duong Provincial Federation of Labor, in 2024, all levels of trade unions in the province achieved and exceeded 13/14 targets assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. Notably, the activities to care for workers during Tet, Workers' Month and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union... The care activities of the Binh Duong Trade Union help workers to ease some of their difficulties and stabilize their lives. Thereby, workers are attached to businesses, contribute to production development, and contribute to the economic and social development of Binh Duong province.
With the achieved results, Binh Duong Provincial Labor Federation was evaluated by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor as an outstanding unit in 2024 and was commended and rewarded at the Conference of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Notably, at the conference, the People's Committee of Binh Duong province awarded certificates of merit to 183 union members and workers with outstanding achievements in the movement "good workers, creative workers" in 2024.
Ms. Nguyen Kim Loan - President of Binh Duong Provincial Federation of Labor - said that good workers have initiatives and technical innovations that benefit businesses. Thereby, workers have stable jobs and higher salaries. It demonstrates the will and determination of workers to spread to colleagues in the business. At the same time, it also contributes to the economic development of Binh Duong province.
Ms. Nguyen Kim Loan suggested that these typical examples continue to maintain their achievements so that next year they will have more achievements. Contribute to building a modern working class in Binh Duong, worthy of being the pioneer class.
Attending the conference, Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan - Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee of Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee - highly appreciated the Trade Unions at all levels of Binh Duong province for promoting patriotic emulation movements among workers, civil servants and laborers. Thereby, creating motivation to strive to excellently complete the set goals.
Regarding 183 individuals with outstanding achievements who were awarded certificates of merit by the People's Committee of Binh Duong province, Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan commented that this is a worthy reward for those who have made important contributions to the development of enterprises and units, as well as to the overall achievements of Binh Duong province. On behalf of the leaders of Binh Duong province, Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan congratulated the excellent workers and hoped that in the coming time, they will continue to have many contributions, initiatives, and suggestions in their roles and positions.
Also at the conference, the Binh Duong Provincial Federation of Labor awarded prizes for the video creation contest on occupational safety and hygiene in 2024, awarded prizes for trade union activities in 2024, and awarded prizes for the topic of union member development and establishment of grassroots trade unions.
