On April 24, Binh Thuy District Labor Federation coordinated with the grassroots trade union of Long Tuyen ward to organize the Ceremony of attaching the signboard of the national flag road emulation project - Nga Nganh canal route, Binh Duong A area, Long Tuyen ward.
This is a work to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and the reunification of the country; The 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam People's Army and 95 years of the establishment of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
In terms of scale, the project includes upgrading the existing road to 3m that has degraded and cannot connect traffic. The total length of the entire route is about 600m, 4 - 4.5m wide, with 0.5m on each side; 2.2m high. Steel concrete road surface structure. The project was constructed in 40 days with a total investment of 1.28 billion VND, from socialized capital.
After completing the traffic route, the unit will continue to implement the Fatherland Flag Road project on the route. The project has a total length of about 600 m with 55 flagpole. The total cost is 25 million VND, from socialized sources.
The completed project helps meet the conditions and standards of traffic upgrades, facilitates the movement and trade of goods of people in the region, contributing to local economic development. At the same time, vivid propaganda, helping people, especially the younger generation, better understand the sacred meaning of the red and yellow star flag. Thereby, arousing patriotism, national pride and sense of responsibility for the homeland and the country.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Labor Federation of Can Tho City Le Thi Suong Mai acknowledged the efforts of units in the area and people in completing the route. Accordingly, the Chairman of Can Tho City Labor Federation suggested that people try to preserve the route to promote long -term effectiveness.
On this occasion, the Binh Thuy District Association for the Promotion of Education presented 10 gifts to students who have overcome difficulties and studied well. Each portion includes 800,000 VND in cash and 20 notebooks.
