Hai Phong City Labor Federation supports Cao Bang to overcome natural disasters

The Cao Bang Provincial Federation of Labor (CLF) has just received support from union members and people affected by natural disasters.

Accordingly, on the afternoon of September 24, a working delegation of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation came to support union members, workers and people of Cao Bang province to overcome the consequences of natural disasters.

The delegation of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation shared about the losses and damages caused by natural disasters in the province. At the same time, they donated 200 million VND to the provincial Labor Federation to support union members, workers and affected people to overcome the consequences of natural disasters. Thereby, helping them overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

Up to now, the Cao Bang Provincial Federation of Labor and all levels of trade unions have received over 1.5 billion VND from resources from units, businesses, and philanthropists inside and outside the province to support workers and people of the province to overcome natural disasters.

According to statistics, in Cao Bang province, during the recent floods and landslides, a total of 75 people died, were injured and went missing; houses, crops and traffic were severely damaged, estimated at over 917 billion VND. Of these, 2 union members died due to landslides, nearly 500 union members lost their crops and property, totaling about 12 billion VND.
