On the afternoon of September 17, Hai Chau Ward Trade Union coordinated with Da Nang City Employment Service Center to organize a conference to propagate and disseminate unemployment insurance policies according to the 2025 Employment Law. On this occasion, the unit also awarded decisions to establish and launch 6 new grassroots trade unions.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung - Chairman of Hai Chau Ward Trade Union emphasized that the propaganda of unemployment insurance policies and the Employment Law is an extremely important content to meet the requirements of caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Trung said that currently Hai Chau Ward Trade Union directly manages about 230 grassroots trade unions. Although the force of full-time trade union officials in the ward is still thin, the unit has made efforts to complete and exceed the target of developing union members and establishing grassroots trade unions assigned by the Labor Federation early.
For units that have not yet established Trade Union organizations, we really hope that business representatives will coordinate to mobilize workers to voluntarily participate in the organization. Regarding the 6 newly launched grassroots trade unions today, we request comrades to soon connect with the Ward Trade Union to receive guidance and issue operating regulations to quickly put care work into order. After the conference, we will send all documents and slides of lectures to each unit and always be ready to support and advise directly when there are problems," Mr. Trung shared.
At the program, Mr. Huynh Cong Hai - Deputy Director of Da Nang City Employment Service Center directly reported and updated the new points of the unemployment insurance policy according to the 2025 Employment Law.
Representatives of the Da Nang City Employment Service Center and Hai Chau Ward Trade Union also spent time exchanging and directly answering workers' problems, combined with organizing a lucky draw program to learn about unemployment insurance knowledge with bonuses, creating a lively atmosphere at the conference.
