The conference aims to raise awareness among cadres, union members, and employees at all levels of the City Trade Union about the goals, contents, viewpoints, tasks, and solutions to build and develop an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity.
At the conference, delegates were informed of the core contents of Resolution No. 136/2024/QH of the National Assembly on the organization of urban government and piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Da Nang City.
Delegates attending the conference were also introduced by Dr. Pham Di - Lecturer of the Faculty of Sociology and Development, Academy of Politics Region III, to the book "Building and developing an advanced Vietnamese culture imbued with national identity" by comrade Nguyen Phu Trong, General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
The book selects 92 articles, speeches, talks, notes, interviews, letters... of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on building and developing Vietnamese culture, of which the earliest article is from 1968.
The content of the speeches and articles shows the General Secretary's deep concern for building, preserving and developing Vietnamese culture with traditional and modern elements, identity and integration, creating endogenous resources and mobilizing the strength of Vietnamese culture and people in the cause of building and developing a prosperous and happy country.
On this occasion, the City Labor Federation commended and rewarded the collectives and individuals who won the second prize in the contest, including the writing contest on good people and good deeds in the workers, civil servants and laborers' movement in Da Nang city for the third time in 2024 and the video clip creation contest "Bringing the Resolution of the Trade Union Congress at all levels into the lives of union members and workers".
