Pleiku Mountain Town Trade Union achieved many outstanding results

Gia Lai - Many individuals and groups of the Pleiku mountain town trade union organization were rewarded for their achievements in emulation and production.

On January 4, the Pleiku City Labor Federation (PLF) said that it currently manages 262 grassroots unions and trade unions with more than 10,000 union members, civil servants, and workers.

In 2024, the Pleiku City Labor Federation effectively implemented activities to care for the lives of union members and workers through the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring Sharing", Workers' Month, Month of Action on Labor Safety and Hygiene; the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union...

In 2024, the Pleiku City Labor Federation supported the construction of 2 "Union Shelters" worth 80 million VND, taking care of 237 union members in difficult circumstances.

Trade unions at all levels in the city have introduced 247 outstanding union members to the Party, of which 59 comrades were admitted.

The City Labor Federation and its affiliated units with outstanding achievements in 2024 were awarded Certificates of Merit and Certificates of Merit from the Central to local levels. Of these, 16 individuals were awarded the Commemorative Medal "For the cause of building trade union organizations" by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

5 collectives and 5 individuals were awarded the Emulation Flag and Certificate of Merit by the Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation; 14 collectives and 42 individuals were awarded by the Pleiku City Labor Federation for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement, activities and building of the trade union organization in 2024.

Many individuals and groups have achieved outstanding results in the contest of creating video clips and short reports to propagate and disseminate legal education on traffic safety among workers, civil servants and laborers.

Entering the new year 2025, trade unions at all levels in Pleiku City are determined to promote their role as representative organizations, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers. At the same time, promote the creative labor emulation movement, associated with the goal of local socio-economic development.
