On the afternoon of October 25, Gia Lai Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union held a ceremony to celebrate its 20th anniversary (October 27, 2004 - October 27, 2024).
Attending the ceremony were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, representatives of the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union, former members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union, terms I, II, III; leaders of the Civil Servants' Trade Unions of the provinces: Dong Nai, Binh Thuan, Da Nang, Binh Dinh, Kon Tum, Dak Lak...
At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the 20-year tradition of establishment and development.
On October 27, 2004, the Provincial Labor Federation Party Committee issued a Decision (No. 95/QD-LDLD) on the establishment of the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union, operating under the provisions of the Vietnam Trade Union Charter.
Since then, the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union has become a common home, a place to carry out hundreds of patriotic emulation movements and a place to represent, care for and protect the rights of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers.
Trade Unions at all levels have effectively implemented the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws, and brought the Central and Provincial Resolutions into life.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, grassroots trade unions donated over 2 tons of vegetables, fruits and other goods worth over 2 billion VND.
The Provincial Civil Servants' Union signed with 20 partners on welfare programs and health care for union members. 100% of grassroots unions organized well activities to visit and encourage union members.
Emulation movements: "Good worker, creative worker", "Good advice, good service"... help promote proactive and creative spirit to complete assigned tasks well.
During the 20 years of construction and development, Gia Lai Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister; Certificates of Merit and excellent emulation flags from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial Labor Confederation, and the Vietnam Civil Servants' Trade Union.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phong - Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial Labor Federation emphasized: "To continue to improve the effectiveness of operations in the coming time, the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union needs to promote propaganda and mobilize cadres and union members to create a healthy and positive working environment. Pay attention to rewarding and replicating advanced examples from emulation movements to create positive effects among union members".
On this occasion, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded the emulation flag for excellent units in the movement of workers, civil servants - laborers and trade union activities in 2023 to the Gia Lai Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union; the Provincial Labor Confederation presented the banner "Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union 20 years of construction and development".
Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded the "For the cause of building Trade Union organizations" medal to 15 individuals.
The Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee awarded a Certificate of Merit to the Provincial Civil Servants' Union for its achievements in organizing and implementing emulation movements and campaigns, contributing to the construction and development of the province...
