Love for workers
On the afternoon of January 14, 330 union members, workers, children and families with meritorious services in Gia Lai province were present at the 2-9 Hall in Pleiku city.
In the cold weather, everyone was happy, excited and warmed by the encouragement and material care of functional departments at all levels.
In Gia Lai province, there are thousands of workers working day and night to serve production activities in industrial parks and industrial clusters.
In 2024, many small and medium enterprises are facing many difficulties, especially enterprises processing granite, exporting wood...
The reason is that the market fluctuates, there are few orders, businesses have to operate ineffectively, affecting the income of many workers in Gia Lai.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich (Lo Pang Livestock Joint Stock Company) shared: “Last year, workers worked hard in factories and workshops to earn income to raise their children and take care of their families. On the occasion of Tet, workers received additional gifts to encourage their spirit, everyone was excited to work with peace of mind.”
Empower workers to overcome difficulties
Mr. Pham Tuong Nhan - a worker at Anh Khoa Company Limited - said: "I am very grateful to the leaders of the Party and the State, and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for their attention and care for the lives of workers. Workers themselves feel the need to make efforts to produce, accompany and share with businesses when the situation is difficult."
Gifts, bus tickets to go home for Tet, scholarships and Union Shelters for workers demonstrate the spirit of mutual love and support so that they are not left behind.
On the occasion of Tet, the delegation led by Party Central Committee member and Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan directly visited and presented gifts to policy families, the poor, workers, and children in difficult circumstances in Gia Lai province on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.
Also joining the delegation were Mr. Phan Van Anh - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy - Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
The delegation presented 330 gifts. Of these, 100 gifts were for families with meritorious services, 200 gifts were for union members, workers, and laborers, and 30 gifts were for children.
Also at the program, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan presented a gift board of 500 gifts worth 500 million VND to the poor in the province; and a gift board of 200 million VND to children in difficult circumstances.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Party Committee, government, and Trade Union of Gia Lai province in taking care of the lives of union members, workers, children, and families with meritorious services.
Over the past years, the lives and economy of the people in the province have been improved and continuously enhanced. This demonstrates the efforts of the government, the will of the people to rise up and the humane and good policies of the Party and State.
In the coming time, Gia Lai province needs to promote the achievements it has made. In 2025, the Gia Lai provincial government needs to step up the work of caring for and promoting the province's resources and strengths so that the people can have a prosperous and happy life.
Gia Lai needs to protect sustainable forests, preserve cultural identity and the spirit of national solidarity, connect trade with the entire Central Highlands, Southeast region and the whole country, in order to grow the economy.
