On June 15, the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation said that the Ha Tinh Employment Service Center in coordination with Ha Tinh Provincial Social Insurance organized a conference to disseminate some new regulations on labor, employment, social insurance (BHXH), and unemployment insurance (BHTN) policies to businesses and employees at Nam Ha Tinh Seafood Import-Export Joint Stock Company.
Attending the conference were representatives of grassroots trade union organizations and more than 250 workers working at the unit.
At the conference, representatives of Ha Tinh Provincial Social Insurance and Ha Tinh Employment Service Center presented topics related to labor and employment policies; new points of the 2024 Social Insurance Law; unemployment insurance policies and regulations related to the rights and obligations of employees and employers.
Reporters focused on clarifying many new contents such as adjusting the minimum social insurance participation time to receive pensions; supplementing regimes related to maternity, sickness, recovery, and health recovery; responsibilities of employers and employees in participating in social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance in accordance with regulations.
In addition, new regulations are built in a direction that is more suitable for practice, contributing to better ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of workers.
According to the organizers, the conference is organized to help workers fully grasp important changes in labor, employment, social insurance and unemployment insurance policies; thereby raising awareness and awareness of law compliance, proactively protecting their legitimate rights.
Speaking at the closing of the conference, representatives of the Ha Tinh Employment Service Center highly appreciated the serious and positive spirit of the delegates and workers attending; noted many practical opinions, close to the production and life of workers.
Representatives of the Center also affirmed that they will continue to closely coordinate with Ha Tinh Provincial Social Insurance and related units to improve the effectiveness of propaganda and policy advice, contributing to ensuring full and timely legitimate rights for workers.
