On the afternoon of January 20, the Chau Thanh District Labor Federation (Kien Giang) organized the program "Tet Sum Vay - Spring of gratitude to the Party" in 2025 in Binh An commune.
At the program, the District Labor Federation presented Tet gifts to 392 union members and workers in difficult circumstances and 10 gifts to excellent students who are children of union members, workers, civil servants and laborers with a total amount of over 200 million VND.
Chairwoman of the District Labor Federation Tran Thi Khanh Linh said: With the motto "All union members and workers have Tet", the Standing Committee of the District Labor Federation has directed all levels of the Union to promote survey activities, grasp the living conditions, salaries, and Tet bonuses of union members and workers. Thereby, promptly organize activities to visit and give gifts to support union members in difficult circumstances.
Union member Dao Thi Thanh Tuyen - Trade Union of Kien Giang Canned Food Joint Stock Company - shared: "I am very happy when the Union organization cares, shares and supports union members in difficult circumstances during Tet. Not only is it material support, but for me, it feels like I am being encouraged mentally to overcome difficulties."
Union officials provided guidance and support for 500 union members to buy gifts on the online "Union Tet Market" software deployed by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor with a total value of 150 million VND.
After this program, the Provincial Federation of Labor will coordinate with the District Federation of Labor to visit and give gifts to encourage union members and workers who are unable to return home for Tet and are staying at rented houses in Thanh Loc Industrial Park, Tac Cau Fishing Port, Binh An Commune, etc.
